CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD Javier Cebrián is Chairman of the Board of Directors at Bonsai Technologies Group, Bonsai Venture Capital and Bonsai Real State as well as Board Member of other Venture Capital and Internet Companies. Before incorporating Bonsai Technologies Group, Mr. Cebrián gained a solid reputation during the last 25 years acting as President & General Manager of VARIAN IBERICA, the subsidiary of VARIAN ASSOCIATES INC. , President & General Manager of CHEMICONTROL and General Manager of IZASA, the biggest Spanish distribution company in Medical and Laboratory Instrumentation. He received a degree in engineering and an MBA from the University of Navarra ( IESE ) Alfredo Biel Castán
C.E.O. Alfredo Biel manages Bonsai Technologies Group as Chief Executive Officer in Spain and Portugaleting. He is also a Member of the Bonsai Group’s enterprises Board of Directors. Before joining Bonsai Technologies Group, Mr. Biel developed a successful and extensive career over 20 years of permanent contact with the worldwide leading manufacturers of Analytical Instrumentation and with a deep knowledge of the High Technology capital goods sector as President and CEO of UNICAM IBERICA, President of SARTORIUS SA, General Manager of IZASA, one of the first Spanish Companies in Diagnosis, and CEO of its subsidiaries in Latin-America. Mr. Biel received a degree in industrial engineering from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas ( ICAI ), where he had also taught for 3 years, and an MBA from the University of Navarra (IESE). C. F. O & Business Development Mngr. Rafael Calderón is the Chief Financial Officer of Bonsai Technologies Group, and Business Development Manager, as well as a Board Member. Prior to joining Bonsai Technologies Group, Mr. Calderón developed a bright professional career during the last 15 years as General Manager of VARIAN MEDICAL SYSTEMS IBERICA, the subsidiary for Spain & Portugal of VARIAN MEDICAL SYSTEMS INC. , the world largest manufacturer of radiotherapy oncology equipments, and Financial Manager and Controller at VARIAN IBERICA and Financial Manager at CHEMICONTROL. Mr. Calderón served as commissioned officer in the Spanish Army. He received a University degree in Economics and Entrepreneurial Sciences at ICADE (E-2). |
